Inspirations from the Himalayans


23" Graduated Utah veriscite turquoise with four old Tibetan beads, probably copal. Sterling silver beads and clasp.

23" Lama's necklace. Triple strands of sponge coral with old Tibetan bead (probably amber), millefiore, old "French Crosses", sterling silver beads and clasp.

24" of graduated Tibetan turquoise nuggets are punctuated with tiny sterling silver disks, two jade Tibetan beads (circa 1920's as told to me), and a larger silver and carnelian accent bead. A sterling silver clasp finishes the piece.

Agate and turquoise. Old agate, as told to me, from Tibet, with turquoise spacers. An old Tibetan bead of silver and carnelian is centered in the 25" necklace. Sterling silver beads and clasp finish the piece.

17" Silver necklace with ga'u. Assorted sterling silver beads with sterling silver clasp and ga'u from Nepal. A single polished lapis cabichon hangs from the ga'u.

An old Tibetan bead in silver and carved carnelian or amber is the centerpiece of this 22" necklace. Large turquoise heishi beads are accented with new decorative silver beads, and finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp.

An old lapis & silver Tibetan center bead with "dots" of turquoise and coral hangs elegantly from 21" of turquoise "disks". The piece is accented with lapis heishi, silver beads & a sterling silver clasp.

New agate style beads sit orderly between Hill Tribe silver and small turquoise disks. The 19" piece is finished with a sterling silver tear drop shaped toggle clasp.

Graduated blue Mexican "Nacozari" turquoise beads accented with matching sterling silver beads and toggle clasp define this 18" necklace. The center pendant, "Jewel in Lotus" is new, made in Nepal and has a removable back for amulets.


Three strands of turquoise and carnelian heishi are joined by sterling silver spacers and clasp. The pendant is from Tibet and made of silver and Naga shell, inlaid with turquoise and coral or carnelian. The necklace is 22" long and the pendant is 2-3/4" in diameter.


Polished and graduated turquoise nuggets are strung with double sets of intricate Hill Tribe silver spacers. A Hill Tribe silver toggle and accents beads finish the 19-1/2" necklace. The silver Tibetan pendant measures almost 2-1/2" in diameter and is carefully carved with open work ornamentation.

Hill Tribe silver disks and sponge coral accent rough cut turquoise heishi for the 23 length of this 23" necklace. A silver Tibetan pendant, adorned with carvings of flora and fauna on the front peaks to a turquoise, silver and coral or carnelian center. The snow lion on the back of the pendant is placed against an ornate background.


Bright coral beads are interspersed with turquoise nuggets and fine Bali silver millwork disks. The sterling silver toggle clasp compliments the 23" necklace with its own intricate pattern. A six sided Tibetan silver pendant highlights the piece with its intricate silver work, and inlaid turquoise and coral. It measures 3" wide and 2-1/4" high.


Round carnelian beads are flanked by Hill Tribe silver and spaced between medium turquoise heishi bead to form this 22-1/2" necklace.The main body of the pendant is turquoise, encrusted with ornate silver leaves and Tibetan markings. The back is plain turquoise. The oval pendant measures almost 2" wide by 1-3/4".


A triple strand of small and medium heishi turquoise beads are twisted between three very old Tibetan beads. The center bead is disk shaped and made of Naga shell, framed in silver, etched and set with a center piece of turquoise.


Lapis lazuli nuggets are spaced with pieces of coral, alternating blue and red on this 23" necklace. The pendant or g'au is new, made by Tibetans in Nepal, in traditional Tibetan style, of lapis, silver and coral. Measuring 1" wide by almost 1-1/2" high, the back is removable and can be used to store amulets.
